Images in xml sitemap are missing

    Rank Math free

Hi, I am using DIVI theme and RankMath on my WordPress site.
After I have generated sitemap XML with included images I got XML with image data and images for “background” that is probably a bug from DIVI.
After that I followed your advice to exclude sitemap from caching (W3 Total cache) and have made changes to .htaccess and in W3 Total cache settings (as you instructed).
I have also disabled option for images in XML sitemap and have generated new sitemap and no image attributes were included.
After that I enabled images in sitemap but my XML didn’t update.
How can I get images in sitemap again?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Could you please share the affected sitemap URL so we can check it as well? You can add it in the sensitive data section.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

Meanwhile, there’s an issue when you are using the Blurb feature in Divi and using a background image in the Blurb.

We recommend that you contact the Divi team and ask them if they have a solution for this where these BG images of blurps are not included in the sitemap. The functionality of Rank Math being able to see Divi images and adding them to the sitemap was added by the Divi team and that is why it is recommended that you contact them directly.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
