For a second day in a row, I still haven’t heard from you. Will you be fielding this inquiry or should I move on?
Hello, is there anyone there who can help? Two days in a row two different people have responded to my initial inquiry but then I don’t hear from anyone.
Will i be hearing from someone today?
Hello,
Apologies for the delayed follow up.
If you check your page source you will note Rank math is adding the required Opengraph tags to your page.(I noted you have extra Opengrapgh tags by O.G Plugin, please disable this to avoid conflicts).
I checked your URL and it shows cURL error 35 on facebook debugger, check the screenshot I have attached in the sensitive section. cURL error 35 is usually an issue with a misconfiguration on the server. For example outdated certificate within cURL or a mismatch in ciphers. You will need to contact your hosting provider for a fix.
Hope this helps you. Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We have shared a screenshot with you that shows Facebook detecting a cURL SSL issue on your website. This issue is going to be there regardless of whether you use Rank Math or any other plugin to add the OpenGraph tags. If you wish to verify that, please switch to any other plugin temporarily and see if it works.
We request you to get in touch with your web host in order to sort the cURL SSL error we have shared in the screencast.
Hope that helps.
I have already completed that debugging process scores of times. I’ve talked to my hosting provider, GoDaddy, and they claim everything is fine and that is just what Facebook is putting out as a general excusie for connections problems. if you have confirmed this is not a RankMath issue, that’s one step. I still have GoDaddy looking at it
Hello,
We are glad we could assist.
Keep us in the loop of how this progresses and if you have any further question(s), please let us know.
Thank you.
Greetings, Michael. Thank you for circling back. I don’t know what ended up resolving the issue but yesterday after also reaching out to FB Developer, and switching hosting from GoDaddy to SiteGround, the cURL error stopped. I also ended up getting a message from the WP support team at GoDaddy saying they had resolved the issue, but I really don’t know what made the difference. I was pulling out all the stops after GoDaddy said for a week that it was Facebook. Not sure why or what they did in the end that left them thinking they had finally resolved it!
Hello Christine,
We are glad the issue is resolved.
It might have been an issue with the host but they would be the best to specify where exactly the issue was.
Do you wish to mark this as resolved?
If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
