  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Image ALT Attributes test. It seems that even though you have added ALT text to your images, Rank Math might not be recognizing them due to various reasons, such as how the images are embedded or if they are in a specific format that Rank Math cannot read.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Image Settings: Ensure that the ALT text is correctly set in the image settings. You can do this by clicking on the image in the WordPress editor and checking the ALT text field.
click image to see image options

    2. Enable Add Missing ALT Attributes: In Rank Math’s settings, you can enable the option to automatically add missing ALT attributes to images. This can help ensure that all images have ALT text assigned.
Enable add missing ALT attributes option

    3. Image Format: Make sure that the images are in a supported format and are not being loaded in a way that prevents Rank Math from accessing their attributes.

    4. Clear Cache: If you are using a caching plugin, clear your site cache and check again.

If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that we can investigate further. A human agent from our support team will be able to assist you more comprehensively.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

You can inspect the Gravatar images on your homepage (under the recent comments section), as they are added as img without the ALT attributes.

Please note that the Add missing ALT attributes and Add missing TITLE attributes options in Rank Math are not added to your images in the media gallery, as the feature works only on the fly (applied on the front end when your page loads on the browser).

In this case, you should get in touch with your theme provider to add the ALT attribute manually to those thumbnails.

    Looking forward to helping you.
