What are the ideal settingss for Robots.txt for woocommerce website? Is it a good idea to remove query strings? And what other pages etc should be excluded. thanks.

The pages that should be indexed are your main product pages. Parameter URLs should not be included in your indexing. Here are some articles that describe SEO considerations for parameter URLs in depth:
