I want to leave meta description blank (Site Wide)

    Hi,

    I want to meta description empty only post page.

    Example: <meta name=”description” content=””/>

    I found a previously replied message, but it didn’t work for me. Because it removes the meta description completely, I want it to be empty and I want to use only empty from post page.

    Hello,

    Thank you so much for getting in touch.

    We do not have any option to add a blank meta description. However, adding the filter on the other page should serve the purpose as it removed the entire meta description field which serves the same purpose that you are after.

    In addition, if what you want is for search engines not to show any description for your posts, you can check the nosnippet checkbox on your post(s) under the advanced metabox: https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-tab/#no-snippet
