Could you tell me how to change the URL status code containing “?” and “/search/” to 410?

Is it the settings in the picture I uploaded?

  • Hello,

To set URLs with specific patterns like "?" and "/search/" to a 410 status code in Rank Math, you can follow these steps:

    1. Compile URLs: First, arrange all the URLs you want to set in a text editor or notepad, with each URL on a separate line.

    2. Access Redirections: Enable the Redirections module in Rank Math SEO and navigate to the Redirections section.

    3. Add New Redirection: Click on the "Add New" button at the top of the Redirections page.

    4. Configure Redirection: In the Source URLs field, paste the URLs containing "?" and "/search/" that you want to set to 410 status code.

    5. Set Maintenance Code: Skip the Destination URL and Redirection Type options. Click on the "410 Content Deleted" button under Maintenance Code.

    6. Save Changes: Set any additional configurations like category, status, and activation schedule. Scroll down and click on the "Add Redirection" button to save your changes.

The settings in the picture you uploaded are not visible in this conversation. If you need further assistance or have any other questions, feel free to ask!
