Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with connecting to Google services. To troubleshoot this, please follow these steps:
-
Enable the Analytics Module: Ensure that the Analytics module of Rank Math is enabled. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO.
-
Open Analytics Settings: Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
-
Connect Google Account: In the Analytics settings, if you haven’t already connected your website with a Google account, you will be prompted to connect. Click the Connect Google Services button.
-
Test Connections: If the buttons are still not turning green, you can test the connection by clicking the Test Connections option at the top right of the Analytics settings. A green signal indicates a valid connection, while a red signal indicates an issue.
-
Reconnect Your Google Account: If you see a red signal, try reconnecting your Google account by following the prompts.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
You would need to have a verified Google Analytics and Google Search Console property, if you do not have, please follow the attached link to create one.
To make sure that everything works correctly please go through this article to connect your Google Account with Rank Math properly: https://rankmath.com/kb/connect-your-google-account/
Also, please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-console
The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
