Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I will try my level best to help you get to the bottom of this.
There are a few things you have to keep in mind when using any SEO plugin, not just Rank Math.
1. An SEO plugin alone cannot bring down or bring up the traffic in a day (or even a few days) unless incorrect Meta Tags are used by setting up the plugin improperly. That’s why we have a detailed tutorial on that:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-setup/2. All the SEO plugins add Meta tags for the search engines which can be checked by viewing the source of a page. For instance, here:
view-source:https://rankmath.com/Other popular plugins generate similar tags:
https://i.rankmath.com/n94KyHAnd with the Rank Math plugin, additional tags are added to a page so search engines can understand the content on a website better.
3. Google brings a new algorithmic update several times a month and the chances are great that your website got hit by that.
We have a full guide on that: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/
With all that said, please share the affected URL with us so we can further check it on our end.
Looking forward to helping you on this one.

Hello,
I’ve checked your sitemap and robots.txt, and they seem to be working fine.
Could you please check your Google Search Console’s coverage section for any issue reported on your site?
You can upload screenshots of the affected URLs using this tool and share here the link so we can verify those issues.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.

Hello,
Kindly share some screenshots of the issues reported in the Coverage report so that we can take a look at the issue you are facing and offer our help.

Hello,
Since there’s no issue with your pages from your GSC coverage report, this traffic drop could be just due to Google’s searching algorithm update. As mentioned in my previous reply, this kind of update usually affects most sites and you might be affected by it as well.
You may give it a couple of days or weeks and see if the traffic of your website will come back to normal.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
I found one problem, I use the exact anchor match in internal links. I am working on it. what you think
Hello,
As stated by my colleague your site is likely affected by Google algorithm update and unfortunately, there’s nothing much you can do about it. You might find some help from the Search Console forum.
https://support.google.com/webmasters/?hl=en#topic=9128571About the exact match internal link:
With the Penguin algorithm update, Google began to look more closely at keywords in anchor text. If too many of a site’s inbound links contain the exact same anchor text, it can start to appear suspicious and may be a sign that the links weren’t acquired naturally. In general, it’s still a best practice to obtain and use keyword- and topic-specific anchor text when possible. However, SEOs may get better results by striving for a variety of more natural anchor text phrases rather than the same keyword each time.Along those lines, one important note: Don’t overdo it with keyword-heavy internal links. Internal linking is certainly a recommended best practice, but be careful with the anchor text you use to link your own pages together. If too many links to a page all use the same anchor text, even if they’re on your own site, Google might sense spammy behavior.
We hope that helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
I replace the anchor with keyword variation and fix over-optimized blog posts. Now, how much time should I wait to google see the change to get my organic traffic back?
Hello,
It depends on the frequency of Googlebot crawling your site. It’s hard to say how much time will it take but at least it will take a few weeks up to a few months. Perhaps this post might give you an idea:
