I’ve disabled my firewall plugin and it keeps happening.

  • Hello, we’re sorry to hear that you’re facing this issue with the SEO analytics. The error code you’re encountering could be due to several reasons, even if you’ve disabled your firewall plugin. Here are a few things you can check:

    1. Website Status: Ensure that your website is returning a 200 status code. You can check the status of your website here. If it returns an error, you’ll need to address that first.
Check website status with httpstatus tool

    2. API Timeout: If your website takes more than 30 seconds to load, it may result in a timeout error.

    3. API Requests Blocked by Firewall: Even if you’ve disabled your firewall plugin, there might be server-level security settings that are still blocking API requests. You may need to whitelist the IP 193.138.6.5 and the user-agent RankMathApi/2.0.2; https://rankmath.com in your server’s firewall settings.

    4. Locally Hosted Website: If your site is hosted locally, the SEO Analyzer module will not work and will return an API error.
API Error: The Site-Wide Analysis is unavailable on localhost.

If you’ve checked all these and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and assist you further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I’ve done all of those troubleshooting things and no change. Also reaching out to my hosting provider customer care.

    Hello,

We’ve checked your site, and it is not returning 200 OK in https://httpstatus.io/. You may refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section.

In this case, you can get in touch with your web host to fix your website’s status.

    Looking forward to helping you.
