    Hello Rank Math Support,

    I hope you’re doing well.

I’m facing a small issue after enabling Rank Math on my WordPress website.

I use a custom post type called *”trip”* to manage travel listings on my site. When I publish a new trip, the default WordPress success notice (“Post published.”) appears — but it disappears immediately (within less than 1 second), unlike regular posts or pages where the notice stays visible.

I’ve tested and confirmed that the issue is directly related to Rank Math. When I disable the plugin (or specific modules), the “Post published” message stays as expected.

*Why this is important for me:*
When the publish notice disappears too quickly, the *social sharing buttons (Facebook, Twitter)* that appear alongside the notice also disappear — and I rely on those buttons to share my trips on social media right after publishing.

I want to keep using Rank Math SEO on all post types (including trip), but I need the standard WordPress publish notice to remain visible on the screen — just like it does for normal blog posts.

Can you please guide me on how to fix this, or is there a way to prevent Rank Math from modifying or interfering with the publish notice for custom post types?

Thank you very much for your time and support!

    Best regards,
    Fadil

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the publish notice disappearing too quickly after enabling Rank Math on your custom post type. This can indeed be frustrating, especially when you rely on the social sharing buttons that appear alongside the notice.

Unfortunately, the context provided does not include specific instructions on how to prevent Rank Math from modifying or interfering with the publish notice for custom post types. However, we recommend checking for any JavaScript conflicts or settings within your theme or other plugins that might be affecting the display of the notice.

If you continue to experience this issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. They will be able to investigate the issue more thoroughly and provide a solution.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve it!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

Please check the PHP values of your site by going to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. These values affect the performance of your site and they should be set at least to the following recommendations:

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

If any of these values are lower than the recommended ones, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase them for you.

If that doesn’t work and assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be caused by a conflict with one of your plugins/theme.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.
