  • Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap. It seems like there might be a few reasons why you are only seeing the XML file instead of the full sitemap.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check if the Sitemap is Enabled: Ensure that the Sitemap module is enabled in Rank Math. You can do this by going to Rank Math Dashboard → Sitemap Settings.

    2. Validate Your Sitemap: Use the Validate XML Sitemap tool to check if your sitemap is correctly configured. Enter your sitemap URL and click VALIDATE SITEMAP.

    3. Ensure Your Posts Are Set to Index: If all your posts are set to noindex, your sitemap may appear empty. Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and ensure that the Index checkbox is enabled for your posts.

    4. Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math. You can use the Health Check plugin to identify any conflicts.

    5. Clear Cache: If you are using a caching plugin, try clearing the cache or excluding the sitemap from being cached. You can find instructions on how to do this in our caching guide.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We’ve checked your sitemap and it seems like your website got infected by some malware as the sitemap files are not being generated by our plugin but are being hijacked by some malicious code on your website.

We recommend that you do a complete security audit on the website and hire a professional developer if you don’t know exactly how to do that.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
