Out of desperation, I blocked thousands of URLs using the 410 code.
I have to block thousands of URLs because I don’t have 15k games on the site (and another 15k images).
After almost a year, the site still receives no traffic. I will use Ahrefs to detect errors in urls.
Are there URLs I shouldn’t block in your 404 monitor?
How can I have the same URLs listed once in the 404 monitor?

Hello,
Can you please share your website WP login here again so we can check further?
Also, I would strongly suggest keeping your reply inside the thread of this ticket, not in the sensitive data section. This will keep the context of the situation so other support staff can understand the current issue if ever they missed some of your previous replies.
Looking forward to helping you.

Hello,
The private posts are only visible to the logged-in users, not to the normal visitors or search engine crawlers. So, if a bot or person tries to visit that URL, it will show them a 404 error, and that’s what our plugin reports. All 404 Monitor will log the same when someone tries to visit a private post.
Hope this clarifies your doubts. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
– Create a post
– Add name
– Add keyword
– Save as private post
– Click on url to open in another tab
– Refresh more times post in new tabThen, probably you’ll find bug in another way, but this bug happens after some minutes that I’ve published a post private. I’m not sure if happens also with publick post, you should test. Probably yes.
In past i’d right urls when on post I pressed on Rank Math and after Edit Snippet. Unluckly since lot time, your tool don’t update urls till i not press publish post. If I remember fine, time ago url it was automatically updated from your plugin if I added a title.
Sorry, but I’m starting to get impatient! 3 weeks to see redirects in bulk and which are repeatedly blocked by me because they appear in 404 Monitor?
Furthermore, more than 3 months have passed to fix the infinite loop error: Url A goes to B, B goes to A. You have no anti-error control or correction of possible errors. It would be nice to have them.
Another error that your tool does not report is multiple redirects, instead of leading to the right redirect.
Example: A goes to B, B to C, C to D. I’m not an SEO expert, but in my opinion all these redirects slow down loads.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing the steps. I was able to replicate the issue on my end. Our 404 Monitor logs the 404 error when you publish a private post. I have informed the devs and it should be resolved soon. We will inform you here once the issue is fixed.
For now, you can ignore those 404 errors and don’t need to create a redirection for them. Since they are false, they will not affect your site’s performance.
You will have to check the redirection module and find the redirections that create infinite redirections to resolve the infinite redirection loop issue.
You can enable the Debug Redirection option in WP Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > General Settings > Redirections to see all the redirection paths. However, our plugin can’t directly redirect A to D if you have set multiple redirections like A to B, B to C, and then C to D. It will run each rule separately, creating multiple redirections.
Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hello,
We are glad that we could address your issue and we deeply apologize for the issues you experienced with our plugin. We will let you know here once we receive updates from our development team.
In the meantime, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
Ah, I forgot to mention why your 404 Monitor tool creates infinite loops: From A to A is strangely accepted and this creates infinite loops preventing access to the affected URL.
Hello,
Can you please share a screenshot of the log with that particular redirection loop?
Looking forward to helping you.
I don’t have such errors, but you can try with from rankmath.com/example/ to rankmath.com/example/.
I gave up, your 404 Monitor tool is for advanced users: If you don’t know what you’re doing, it creates a ton of problems for your site.
Last night I worked hard and in 5 hours I put the code 410 on the URLs with errors. Your tool not only detects too many things (I’m only interested in posts, tags, pages, images and videos), but it only detects new scans. Let’s say I have 15,000 deleted games, your tool is ineffective. 200 URLs detected daily and a lot of garbage. it’s also a buggy tool, it doesn’t warn you about errors made.
Rating 2 and I gave an extra vote, because I believe that this tool has excellent potential. In 3 years it has only created problems.
Hello,
Our apologies for not following up quickly about this issue.
We have heard from our developers, and based on their tests, they ruled out that this is not a bug.
The Private post accessed while logged in doesn’t end up in a 404 log. But if the post is accessed without login, it will be logged in the 404 Monitor, which is what is intended.
You can the screencast from our Dev team: https://i.rankmath.com/v/VO3lev
If you still have any questions, just reply and we will be more than happy to clarify any doubts you might have.
