I have a problem with the WooCommerce Schema

  • Hello Dear,
I have woocommerce store and I use the freemium version of Rank Math Seo
I have a problem, which is that when searching in Google, some of our products appear without images, and others show images linked to other products.

I’ve read about the problem and tried to solve it but all attempts failed
    – I navigated to Rank Math Seo >> Titles & Meta >> Products >> And I confirmed that the Schema Type is WooCommerce Product
    As in the attached image

    – I made sure to put a feature image for each product and that the Schema Type is WooCommerce Product

But despite that I still face the same problem.

If the problem is that I am using the free version, I am ready to buy the paid version, but this problem must be solved, please.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Please note that Rank Math doesn’t have any control over how images in the SERP results are displayed and search engines display them as per their will and it mostly depends on the keyword search term and the website authority.

In this case, you may try to add relevant ALT text to the featured image or image you wanted to show, and chances are search engines will refer to it.

Here’s a guide you can follow as well:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-show-images-in-search-results/

    Looking forward to helping you.

But I don’t understand why in Google search some products appear with images related to other products

    Hello,

This issue often occurs because Google may fetch incorrect images due to caching, lack of ALT text, or other factors. Please ensure each product has a unique and optimized featured image and that the ALT text for images accurately describes the product.

Apart from that optimization method, there’s nothing you can do as SEO plugins don’t have full control over how images are displayed and linked on the SERP.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
