Hi! I recently added an FAQ in one of my articles, but whenever I scan it in Google structured data tool, it does not convert the section to FAQ schema. Can you please check what’s wrong? Thanks!

  • I HAVE ALSO THE SAME QUESTION HOW CAN I FIX IT ??

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Is it possible that you are using a page builder to edit the content on the FAQ page? If you are, could you please add the Rank Math schema block once more without using the page builder and check if the issue will still be reproduced?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

What do you mean “without using the page builder”?

    Hello,

Please note that the FAQ Block only works when used with the Block Editor aka, Gutenberg.

If you are using any age builder like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc. (most of the times installed by your theme)., it may or may not work but it 100% works with Block Editor which is what we created it for.

If you are not using any page builder and use only the Block Editor – we would need to take a closer look at the setup.

    Thank you.

I am using Gutenberg block editor.

    What’s the next step then?

Sorry for the issue you are facing.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

(make sure to follow ALL instructions correctly, just installing the plugin doesn’t help)

Please let me know if you find the culprit.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.
