  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked the affected URL, and it seems that your site title is already not included in the <title> tag. You can also verify that using this tool: https://heymeta.com

In this case, you can check this link for more information on why Google chooses a different meta title/description on the search results page:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/#why-google-might-choose-not-to-use-your-meta-description

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Dear Team,

Thanks for reply. Even after trying above process in my website. Still google search result shows my website name in the search result in the Post title tag.

Also I had properly selected the Rank math Title and Tag option post format is completely and properly defined in the Rank Math. Still google is selecting his post title.

Please let us know the solution for this.

    Thanks
    Nadeem

    Hello,

I can check that there are two title tags being added to your site. The other one could be from your theme or some other plugin.

You can use our troubleshooting guide to check:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

If the troubleshooting doesn’t help then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
