I am facing sitemap issue after changin URL

    Hello Dear sir, I am a lover of rank Math because Rank math is the best as compared to Yoast. 1st of all I want to appreciate your service.

    Right now I am facing an issue regarding the sitemap in the google search console after changing the URL from http://iubfun.com to http://www.iubfun.com
    a few days ago I was get Namecheap CDN on website through their chat. They told me we need to change your URL from HTTP:// to http://www. then CDN will work properly. as they change the URL issue starts in the search console. there are two times the URL starts appearing as you see in this screenshot https://prnt.sc/1r4rpzk … Now 1st URL is my old one where my sitemap was working properly and many keywords were ranked. as URL change sitemap stop to working. as I want to submit the again sitemap the sitemap page shows blank you can see in the screenshot https://prnt.sc/1r4seb3. then I tried to submit the sitemap in a new URL which shows http://www.iubfun.com there as I submit the sitemap there working but the sitemap show me on some posts there is a duplicate page. a few days ago my keyword wast 84 but now rank math show me only 9 keywords

    so now I want to only one URL like old because their many keywords were ranked and I want to update the old URL to http://www.iubfun.com. so please guide me on how to fix it in the search console.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The first thing you should do is remove the property on Google Search Console that no longer exists and only keep the one that your website is loading now.

    We also recommend that you set up a redirect on your website to catch all the calls to the non-www version and redirect to the new property: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/cpanel/how-to-redirect-non-www-urls-to-www

    ​​​​​​​After you have done all that, you should re-submit the sitemap on Google Search Console by following this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

    Please note that it might take some time to recover some of the keywords and rankings as those were only shown in the previous version of the website and only now with the 301 redirect SERPs will be aware of the change when visiting the website.

    Dear sir, I applied your instructions like removed the old URL version from the search console and the website is working to the new URL.
    So right now I have a query that as per my checking which keywords were ranking through old URL versions. now lost all ranking after changing URL. Right now by searching keywords website is not showing in search results. So I want to ask you lose my website ranking due to changing the URL?

    And can you guide me now I need to do something for getting a ranking of all keywords or need to wait until it will resume? if it resumes then how much it takes time. I have submitted the Sitemap just only at this time

    Please help me very worried about this situatin. m very thankful to you becasue your guideline is my last hope

    Hello,

    As the property and URL is changed, it would take some time for Google to populate the data and rankings on your new property/URL.

    There is no fixed time for rankings to recover on your new URL, this can take anywhere from a few days to weeks or even months.

    You should now continue optimizing your website and wait for Google to crawl the website again. Also, please ensure that you’ve redirected the non-www version to the www version, as suggested by my colleague.
