Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with your site title not updating in Google search results. It can be frustrating when changes do not reflect as expected.
Here are a few steps you can take to ensure that your site name is set correctly:
-
Add a Site Name to Your Homepage Title Tag: Make sure you have entered your site name in the Site Title field under WordPress Dashboard → Settings. After entering, click Save Changes.
-
Check Your Homepage H1 Tag: If your homepage is set to display a static page, ensure that the page title is set to "Tech Town" and click Update.
-
Add a Site Name to Your Website Structured Data: Enable the Schema module in Rank Math by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO. Then go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Local SEO and fill in the required fields, especially the Website Name.
-
Request Google to Reindex Your Homepage: Use the Google Search Console to request indexing of your homepage. Enter your homepage URL and click REQUEST INDEXING.
-
Submit URL to Google Using Instant Indexing: If you have configured Google’s Instant Indexing, go to Rank Math SEO → Instant Indexing, enter your homepage URL, and click Send to API.
After making these changes, it may take some time for Google to reflect the updates in search results. If the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for your patience, and we hope this helps resolve the issue!
oh one thing its showing name in image tab
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Rank Math support.
Please note that the appearance of your site name in Google’s search results is determined by Google’s algorithm and is not directly controlled by any SEO plugin. Google decides whether to display the site name and which name to use.
While it is possible to suggest a site name to Google using the WebSite
schema, it is not guaranteed that Google will use the suggested name. Rank Math includes the WebSite
schema on all website pages by default, so using Rank Math already meets the most important requirement for displaying your site name in the search results.
You can find more information about this here.
We hope this helps clarify the issue. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
