  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your /robots.txt, and it is returning a 404 not found error.

Please get in touch with your web host and ask for assistance with this. You can follow the recommended rules here:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-edit-robots-txt-with-rank-math/#default-rules

Once done, please submit again your sitemaps in Google Search Console and give Google some time to recrawl your site.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

I have vps so i am the hosting provider please help me and share method how can i resolve this.
    Thanks

    Hello,

In this case, please try creating a static robots.txt file in your website’s root directory and add these recommended rules inside:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    Sitemap: yoursite.com/sitemap_index.xml

Please replace yoursite.com with your actual website name.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Please add this filter to your website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

Then, clear the website cache and resubmit the sitemap.

Also, you can edit the robots.txt file with Rank Math:

    Hope that helps.
