.htaccess rewrite not working

I’ve talked to Bluehost, but they weren’t able to help me, and I’ve also read and updated the .htaccess file per https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/#apache-error.

I’m still seeing ?sitemap=1 appear instead of /sitemap_index.xml.

Any ideas how to fix this?
