    Hello,
I am trying to force www versions of my site to direct to the non-www version. To do this I have tried to follow your guide (https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-www-urls-to-non-www/) without much success.

I have also tried to add the provided code directly to the htaccess file in my cpanel, again without success. Here is a screen shot of the my htaccess file on cpanel, with the redirect code added, but not redirecting as expected

What could I be doing wrong?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

    Andrew

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve tried checking your site, and it’s already redirecting fine to the final version (without WWW).

You can also check using our External SEO Analyzer tool, and the WWW Canonicalization test is already fixed.

Could you please confirm where are you still seeing that your site is not yet redirecting?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
