we cannot generate a sitemap for the .com/de version – so we have used only 1 sitemap to Google.
(done – nothing new to update) You have the latest versions of both Rank Math and WPML installed.
(done – believe it is proper) The translations for your pages are correctly set up in WPML.
(only 1 sitemap) You can check your sitemap at domain.com/sitemap_index.xml to see if the translated pages are listed correctly.

Thank you for contacting support.
The hreflang tag is added by the translation plugins not by our plugin.
Our plugin doesn’t create language-specific sitemaps and it never did because that is handled by the translations plugins and also because Google can discover the other languages from the main one added to the sitemap.
There are two options to index the language files, either with a different sitemap or the hreflang tag present on the pages, with our plugin the second option is the default.
