Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
The second link you have provided is different and also returns a 404 page not found error.
Could you please double-check the URL so we can check and advise accordingly?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Because the Rank Math Team took too long, I finally removed all the sub categories and made them into one category
Hello,
We’re really sorry for the delays in the response.
We’re experiencing a higher than usual flow of tickets which is resulting in an increased response time.
As you’ve already merged the categories, if there’s anything else that we can assist you with, please let us know.
Thank you.
It’s okay, everything has passed, but now I’ve deleted the sub categories into one category. And greetings to the google console coverage report. Duplicates occur a lot, Google chose different canonical than users, between 10 problematic urls for the subdomain level and 30 problematic urls for the domain level.
My question is, does it have anything to do with the number of redirects I do?
Thank you for your help
Hello,
Ideally, redirects should not cause such issues. If Google thinks that a different URL has the same/similar content, then it can choose that URL as the canonical and ignore the set canonical.
You can have a look at these guides for more details:
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/consolidate-duplicate-urls
https://www.contentkingapp.com/academy/index-coverage/faq/duplicate-different-canonical/
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
Does that mean we don’t need to add the canonical url in the advanced rank math section?
Because yesterday I was confused to solve this I added the canonical url in the advanced rank math section
Hello,
We automatically generate self-referencing canonical URL for each post/page/CPT.
Unless you want to add a different canonical URL, you should not modify that field.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
OK, I’ll try to delete the url I added there again…hopefully this works.
Hello,
We are glad that we could address your concern.
Please do let us know how that goes. We are here to help you if you are still seeing issues in the GSC.
Looking forward to helping you on this one.
For development it may take a while, but this I try to improve with the suggestions that have been given…
Thank You
Hello,
You’re welcome.
Please also note that the main purpose of adding a custom canonical to your pages is to let Google know that it is a duplicate page, and not to be indexed.
If you also set the canonical manually, your posts/pages will not be included in your sitemap:

Meanwhile, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you have other questions to assist you further.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
OK, I’ve returned it as before by removing the addition of the canonical url in the advanced rank math section.
Hopefully the error in GCS will be resolved soon
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your workaround. Please let us know if applying that canonical setting will resolve the issue. It may take time until Google will recrawl your site.
With that said, please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hello Rank Math Friends, Sorry for the delay in replying to this discussion. In the Duplicate contained in the gsc there is no repair effect. but may i ask about another topic about sitemap Rank math…
Here I use wordpress as web engine…about the default sitemap from wp should I turn off its function and only use sitemap only from Rank math…
If you have to turn off the wordpress default sitemap function, how do you do it… Thank you friends
Hello,
You should only use one sitemap plugin at a time on your website to generate a sitemap.
If you want to disable Rank Math’s sitemap then please head over to Rank Math > Dashboard > Sitemap > Disable this Sitemap module.

We hope that answers your question.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you need further assistance.
Thank you
