How to setup static HomePage Seo

    We already know it is how our WordPress is set up. We have a static HomePage. We want to know if there is a way to update the SEO using RankMath when we have a static HomePage. This is the message we see when we click on RankMath/Titles & Meta/Homepage…”Static page is set as the front page (WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading). To add SEO title, description, and meta for the homepage, please click here: Edit Page: Home” We do not want to change our static Homepage, so can we somehow edit the SEO using RankMath? We would like to be able to edit it beyond using the default variables. Right now, we have the site description set to %excerpt%, but because we don’t have a lot of text on that page, we want to create a custom description just for the Homepage.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    The option to edit your page in Homepage settings will take you to the Static page you selected as your static homepage for which you may then make the related SEO meta changes. Here is a screencast on the same: https://i.rankmath.com/ub8v7K

    You can also edit the same by heading to WordPress Pages and click edit on the page you have set as your static home page.
