How to set multiple posts to NOINDEX

I have custom post types on my site that I do not want to be indexed. At this point, there are thousands of them so updating them to NOINDEX one at a time is crazy. Does RankMath support the ability to change all of the custom post types at once?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

To change the default status of your posts by post type, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Post type] and set it there to noindex

    Post

Also, you may need to enable this option first to show the robots meta settings

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
