How to remove pages with get parameter from search using rank math plugin

    Good afternoon. I received a message about a critical error on my site, pages with get parameters got into the index, there are a lot of them. Is it possible to remove duplicates with get parameters from the page index using your plugin?

    Here is a screenshot from the admin panel of my site with get parameters as you can see I have a lot of attributes that are used with products: https://disk.yandex.ru/i/EqBarp_v5oPm2A

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math for help with removing a URL with query parameters from the Yandex index.

    You do not need to take any action as Rank Math automatically adds a canonical URL to every page with query parameters which tells the search engine not to index URLs with the query parameter. You may refer to the following article on how Yandex handles canonical URLs: https://yandex.com/support/webmaster/robot-workings/canonical.html

    If you would like to prevent Yandex from crawling URLs with a ‘?’ in them, you can add the following rule to your robots.txt. 

    
User-agent: Yandex
Disallow: /*?

    Please note, disallowing indexing of all query parameters is risky as there may be some you want to be crawled and indexed.
