How to redirect a clone site

    Hello

    I was optimizing my server stack and to test the pagespeed, I created a clone of my existing site
    Now the clone has a few pages indexed on Google

    Google can consider this as duplicate content

    If I no index the whole site, it will take time to be removed from the search engine, and google could still think of my main site as duplicate

    How do I resolve this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    You can still set your whole cloned site to noindex on your WordPress dashboard > Settings > Reading and enable this option

    If the URLs from your cloned site are already appearing on the search results, I would recommend the page removal tool in your Google Search Console account. This should take about 24-48 hours to remove the URLs upon submitting.
