    Hello,
I want to edit the content of my llms.txt file, that I have just created with Rank Math SEO, I can add content (but not where I want – it always adds it at the bottom), but I cannot regroup or delete any content – how does it work. The AI-Robot has sent me information how to edit the robot.txt file, but I need to edit the llms.txt file. Thanks for your help
    Thanks and BR Peter

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with editing your llms.txt file in Rank Math SEO. Currently, Rank Math primarily focuses on managing the robots.txt file, and there may not be direct support for editing llms.txt files through the plugin interface.

If you are able to add content but cannot rearrange or delete it, this might be due to the way the plugin handles the llms.txt file. Unfortunately, we do not have specific instructions for editing llms.txt files as it is not a standard feature of Rank Math.

For more advanced editing options, you might consider manually editing the llms.txt file directly via FTP or your hosting provider’s file manager. This way, you can have full control over the content and its arrangement.

If you need further assistance or if this does not resolve your issue, please reply to your ticket, and a human agent from our support team will take over and provide more detailed help.

Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Unfortunately, right now, we don’t have any options in the LLMs.txt feature to edit the file. Rank Math generates this dynamically, and you can only exclude or include the post types or taxonomies.

If you want full control, you can create a static llms.txt file and upload it directly to your website root folder.

With that said, we are continuously working to improve this feature. If this is something we can implement in the future, we will announce it on our communication channels and the changelog page: https://rankmath.com/changelog/

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
