  • Hello,

To get your review snippets to display in Google search results for bethesdaheadshots.com, you need to ensure that your Schema Markup includes the necessary fields like "itemReviewed." The error message you mentioned from Google Search Console indicates that there are 26 items with this issue, making them invalid for rich results.

Here’s how you can address this issue:

    1. Add "itemReviewed" Field: Ensure that each item on your website that has reviews includes the "itemReviewed" field in the Schema Markup. This field should contain information about the item being reviewed.

    2. Encourage Reviews: Encourage your customers to leave reviews for the products/services on bethesdaheadshots.com. Having genuine reviews will help populate the "itemReviewed" field and make your items eligible for rich results.

    3. Check Schema Markup: Verify that the Schema Markup on your website is correctly implemented and includes all the required fields for reviews, such as "aggregateRating" and "review."

    4. Use Google Rich Results Testing Tool: Test your Schema Markup using Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool to identify any missing or incorrect fields that need to be fixed.

If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to reach out to our support team directly here. We are here to help you with any Schema-related queries.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Regarding the https://www.bethesdaheadshots.com/portfolio/outdoor-headshot-jay-2/ page, could you please share which method you’ve used to add the Review schema on your website?

Please note that the Review Schema will always need to be attached to another type of Schema to be compliant as you can see from this article: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/review-snippet

Please refer to this URL, where most of the types are mentioned, which would allow you to add Review Schema to your page: https://rankmath.com/kb/review-schema/

For the https://www.bethesdaheadshots.com/gaithersburg/ page, we can see the Review Schema is getting detected as valid without any issues also Google is showing the rating starts on SERPs:

However, please note that even if you add proper schema to your website, it is ultimately Google’s decision if they want to include this with your website or not and it mostly depends on the keyword search term.

    Here’s what Google says:

“Google does not guarantee that your structured data will show up in search results, even if your page is marked up correctly according to the Rich Results Test.”

You can read more about the guidelines from this URL:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/sd-policies

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
