Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing. To create a Rich Pin using Rank Math, you don’t need to manually add any code to your website’s head. Instead, Rank Math automatically adds the necessary Open Graph meta tags to your pages, which are essential for enabling Rich Pins on Pinterest.
Here’s a brief overview of the steps you should follow:
-
Ensure Open Graph is Enabled: First, make sure that the Open Graph feature is enabled in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Social Meta and ensuring that the Open Graph settings are activated.
-
Add Schema Markup: You may also want to configure Schema Markup for your posts or pages, as this can enhance how your content is displayed on Pinterest and other platforms. You can do this in the Rank Math meta box when editing a post or page.
-
Validate Your Rich Pins: Once you have set up everything, you can use Facebook’s Open Graph Object Debugger to test if the Open Graph tags are correctly implemented. This tool will help ensure that Pinterest can read your content properly.
-
Apply for Rich Pins: After confirming that your Open Graph tags are set up correctly, you can apply for Rich Pins through Pinterest’s Rich Pin application process. You will need to provide your website URL and follow the instructions provided by Pinterest.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with specific settings in Rank Math, feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Hello,
There is no Social Meta in General settings.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
You are right that the Pinterest Rich PIN Validator is no longer available.
Pinterest uses the OpenGraph tags that our plugin should already have added to your site. There are no additional tags to generate the rich pins in Pinterest. You can check this guide to learn how the OG tags of our plugin work: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-meta-tags/
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hello Ike,
Does that mean I don’t have to enable anything on the Rank Math plugin. When I would create a pin on Pinterest, it will be automatically transferred to a Rich Pin since I’ve checked the OG tags are already on my website.
Hello,
That’s correct. With Rank Math, the necessary Open Graph (OG) tags for Rich Pins are automatically added to your site, so you don’t need to enable anything additionally.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.
Hello,
