Please note there can be only one parent category for one subcategory. Also, there cannot be multiple categories with the same slug.
If you want to use Tshirt and Hoodies under both Men & Women categories, you would be required to add multiple Tshirt & Hoodies categories with different slugs.
Please do not worry about the trouble as different categories can have different parent categories.

Yes, the example you have provided should be fine and you’re good to go. Parent-to-child is a hierarchical one-to-many relationship, not a many-to-many relationship.
