  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

By default, Rank Math only adds the rel="noopener" to your external links. To add the noreferrer, you will need to set it to open in a new tab.

Here’s a screencast for your reference:

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

I already set it to open it in a new tab , still I’m facing the same issue ,

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for sharing the details.

Noreferrer tag is automatically added to the links that open in a new tab by WordPress. This is not controlled or affected by Rank Math in any way. However, I checked your site and it seems like the issue is related to the classic editor.

With all the plugins disabled and a default theme active, when I added an external link using the default block editor, the noreferrer tag was added to the link but when I used classic editor the wasn’t added. So this could be something related to the classic editor.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

You changed my theme, will it causes any problem?
Is it back to normal as it was before giving You access.
