How does “People also ask” content on Google work, different to FAQ Schema?

    Hi guys, we’ve had manually built FAQ Schema on our main website for years without good results. Now, a competitor’s website had question/answer content appear in my incognito search results, and they do not appear to use any structured data at all.

    How does their page result in getting into Google results like this, without structured data?

    It looks like FAQ Schema on a page will show questions/answers right next to the search result for that page. What would we do in MathRank to get into these “People also ask” sections?

    PS They use GravCMS (from the ‘generator’ meta tag) whose documentation says they support structured data, but these guys don’t seem to have used that feature at all on this page.     Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The section of “People Also Ask” is an automated section that Google displays to try and provide more helpful articles to the user search term. It isn’t related to the Schema and you can’t enable a setting to have that appear when someone looks for your website as that is automated and only shown when Google deems it’s going to provide a better user experience.
