How do you target keywords?

    This may be a dumb question, but I’m a little confused on how you target keywords. Not keyword research, but the actual mechanical process of choosing keywords. Right now I’m using the free version of RankMath and that gives me an option to write down keywords, but limits it to 5. Is there another way to do keyword targeting that I’m missing? Do you need a plugin?

    Also, I’m asking here because I tried Google and couldn’t find a real answer. Most search results were just explaining keyword research.

    Suppose you have a product or service related to “WordPress” and of course you want your website to achieve a top listing in the search engines. You can use the Google Trends Tool to find the current trending word or you can have a look here : https://mythemeshop.com/blog/keyword-research/ Since you know what keyword you want to target based on your keyword research. Simply use it on your product or service page and take advantage of that.
