    Hi,

How do you create an “organization schema” instead of the “local business schema”?
I’m wanting to change the local schema which shows a map of one location of the business with reviews, to the organization to show details about corporation, like this:

    Organization Schema

I’ve searched all through the plugin and this forum but can’t find anything pertaining to this.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Based on the configurations under Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO, we automatically add the Organization schema to the website with fine details about the website so that search engines can better understand the details and purpose of the website.

However, Google collects the data for the knowledge graph from multiple sources like Google My Business profile, your website, and schema, social media profiles, etc.

If you operate a business, then having a Google My Business profile along with the above-mentioned factors is the best approach for getting a knowledge graph.

With that being said, there are some other factors involved in getting a knowledge graph. We suggest you have a look at this guide: https://ahrefs.com/blog/google-knowledge-graph/#how-to-get-in-googles-knowledge-graph

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

So under Rank Math > Dashboard, you turn “Local DEO & Knowledge Graph” on/off there which changes the Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO page.

You turn the thing On in the dashboard and it displays additional fields asking Address, Hours, Phone # and so on.

If the business has only 1 website but multiple locations with different contact information… you should keep the “Local DEO & Knowledge Graph” turned Off, correct? And this should “help” with creating a knowledge graph like the Mercedes example above?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Yes, the Local SEO should help acquire knowledge graph although it is not guaranteed because it is up to Google if they think your website is qualified for a knowledge graph. It is Google’s decision if they show it or not. Rank Math added the schema so it increases your odds to display it.

Please go through my colleague’s guide as setting up Google My Business profile should further increase the chances.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

As mentioned previously by my colleague, Google has its own ways to generate a knowledge graph on the SERP for your website, and turning your Local SEO on or off doesn’t guarantee your website to have one on the SERP. However, having the schema should further increase the chances.

As for your multiple locations and contacts, you should turn on the Local SEO for that as this manages the local details of your website. We have a PRO feature that helps you create multiple locations which enables you to provide an individual address and contact information for each location you have for your business.

Please note that the said feature is only available for PRO users.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
