Can you please share the affected URLs with us if there are any?

Hi Sakibn,
You seem to have misunderstood my question. I asked how to set a default image within Rankmath that populates on pages WITHOUT a featured image set. I could manually set a featured image on each page without Rankmath, but that defeats the point.
The root url rankmath.com (home page) DOES have a default image set. But, If you check any other page on the site, you’ll notice the meta image is not showing. It will show only the first image shown, whether it is a logo, or a random image.
How do I set a default meta image that shows on ALL pages automatically within Rankmath?
Hello,
Rank Math does not have a setting for default featured images. However, we do have a setting for default opengraph/social media thumbnail. To change it, you can go to your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and under “Open Graph thumbnail”, select a default image and click save changes.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have questions.
That doesn’t help. Was really hoping for an adjustment to the PHP the other Rankmath rep gave me so it will work again.
Hello,
It seems that you already marked this ticket as “Resolved”. Do you still need our assistance regarding this issue?
I tested the code from my end and it seems to be working just fine. The filter code enables me to forcibly fetch the default opengraph image and not the image from the featured image or content.
With that said, I noticed that you are currently using both Rank Math and Yoast plugins, I suggest disabling one of the plugins to avoid conflicts and other meta issues.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Oh, you’re right!🤦♂️ The client installed Yoast also, which is messing it all up. Mark this solved.
