    How do I instruct Rank Math to re-generate sitemaps after having made some changes to product descriptions. This was required after Google console rejected some product searches from the original sitemaps. I have re-entered sitemaps processing and saved again but the generated file dates remain unaltered.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and bringing your concern to our attention.

    Your product meta description is not related to the sitemap. If the product page is added to your sitemap, Google will automatically recrawl it and should update this on SERPs.

    You can also use the URL Inspection tool on your GSC account to manually request for the re-crawling: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/ask-google-to-recrawl
