    homepage social media thumbnail will not update from a deleted media file that has a typo. All other pages utilize the correctly assigned thumbnail for social media sharing (spanish version incl). The file that the homepage is pulling has a typo and said file has been deleted from the WordPress dash for about a month. Deleting the file initially corrected this issue and the Homepage was displaying the correct image when being shared… however somehow it reverted to pulling a deleted image that has a typo while the other pages remain consistent. I have changed each setting within rank math per page and through the rank math open graph file settings. Also deactivated my Smush plugin just in case wiht no avail.

    This seems to be a caching issue. Can you please try to disable any caching plugin you have temporarily and see if this resolves the issue?

    Also, please check with your hosting provider as well if you have any caching services that might be still caching your homepage.
