    Rank Math free

Hi, I’ve just started using rank math and it seems to be logging the website homepage in the 404 log. 30 hits on it today.

The thing is, there are no redirects on the homepage and everything is working fine? I don’t know whether this should be a concern or not?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

If you notice other 404s on the 404 Monitor page, you will notice they are all relative (without the domain name).

So, when you see a 404 on your main domain name, that actually means someone or a bot tried to access your website at https://example.com/https://example.com

You can safely ignore this 404. There is nothing to be worried about.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Thank you very much for the fast reply 🙂 . I’ll ignore it then.

    Hello,

If you don’t mind me asking, could you please leave us a review (if you haven’t already) on https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/reviews/#new-post about your overall experience with Rank Math? We appreciate your time and patience.

If you do have another question in the future, please feel free to create a new forum topic, and it will be our pleasure to assist you again.

    Thank you.
