  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

This doesn’t mean that you did something wrong as is perfectly normal for Google to change the title and meta description on SERPs if it feels that a better option is available to show.

    We go over this: https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

Plus, Google also recently introduced changes to the way it generates the titles: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2021/08/update-to-generating-page-titles

Hope this helps clarify your doubts.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

Ok but something else about the SEO title. Please tell me your honest opinion.

    1. If I change the text form now, this will affect SEO in one way or another?

    2. Let me give you an example. My SEO title is like that now https://i.imgur.com/pT73UGP.png.
But if I change it to this form, will it be better or worse https://i.imgur.com/ech9j1L.png?
I edited the text temporarily to show you this example. This second example also appears on some popular sites with the same content https://i.imgur.com/bO1I8wm.png, and I want to know which of these two options is better.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

There is no hard-and-fast rule for the titles but ideally, using the brand/website name at the end of the SEO title and the content description at the bringing is a more common practice among webmasters.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

So now if I don’t make any changes my SEO title will remain in Google exactly as it is now? https://i.imgur.com/rtDInxG.png

Or after a while is it possible for Google to change the impressions in the search results as set in the Rank Math plugin?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, as is the case with all the features Google introduces in the algorithm there’s nothing we can do to opt out of this.

It is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. We have covered this Google update here:

    https://rankmath.com/google-update/google-title-rewrite-update/

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

I read the articles above but I have to ask something else so I can solve the problem later.

    1. My SEO title which is set in the Rank Math plugin https://i.imgur.com/pT73UGP.png It has to be the same as the one in Tagline that is set in WordPress, right https://i.imgur.com/OOhDpuG.png?

    2. Where can I add these subcategories that also exist on this site https://i.imgur.com/1qH95Q0.png and to appear in search engines? Can I add these titles and subtitles to my site from the Rank Math plugin?

    3. And in order for the date of the article to appear in google, I can do this from the Rank Math plugin, can something like this be set or only in the PRO version? https://i.imgur.com/q2piLx6.png

    Thanks!

    Hello,

We are glad we could help with your SEO Title questions. Below are the responses to your addtional questions.

    1. My SEO title which is set in the Rank Math plugin https://i.imgur.com/pT73UGP.png It has to be the same as the one in Tagline that is set in WordPress, right https://i.imgur.com/OOhDpuG.png?

Your SEO Title does not need to match the site tagline. The main Goal of the SEO Title is to introduce people who find your website on search and get them to click the link. The SEO title must describe the content of the page and performs best when it includes keywords that were used in the page.

    2. Where can I add these subcategories that also exist on this site https://i.imgur.com/1qH95Q0.png and to appear in search engines? Can I add these titles and subtitles to my site from the Rank Math plugin?

You can make your subpages appear on search results like this using SiteNavigationElement schema. This can be created as a custom schema element in Rank Math PRO.

    3. And in order for the date of the article to appear in google, I can do this from the Rank Math plugin, can something like this be set or only in the PRO version? https://i.imgur.com/q2piLx6.png

You can add the date in the Rank Math metabox description field as shown in the screen recording: https://i.rankmath.com/GmI0Fw

    I hope that answers you.

    Ok, great. Professional answer.
One more thing. As I wrote above, my seo title is displayed differently in search results.
Is the choice I made in the setup wizard with “business name” instead of “Personal website” possible affected in a negative way this thing with other seo title in Google?
