Basically when you set any page as homepage from your WordPress settings, the permalink edit option is disabled by default. If you deselect the home page from settings, then you can able to change the permalink again for that page.

Hi thanks for your answer.
I selected another page as homepage and like this i changed the permalink to “real homepage”, but then i modified from the wp menu>settings>reading and i selected like the homepage the “real one homepage” where i changed the permalink before, but when i return to the backend of the “real homepage” the permalink it disappear and rankmath in the snipet section show me empty permalink field.
I have other sites set up in the same way where this doesn’t happend. why? how i can fix this problem? thank you so much

Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
It seems the access you have provided is for your staging site and does not contain the real homepage you are referring to. However, your homepage permalink is simply your site root URL.
This doesn’t usually have a slug and there is, therefore, nothing to make editable.
I’ve checked your staging site as well and all your other pages have the permalinks. Please let us know if we’re missing something.
