Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
1. The option to redirect should be editable. You can choose to redirect your page to whichever page you wish. if you can’t edit yours, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
2. You can leave the homepage schema settings in Rank math as none. Your homepage will usually reflect your general site schema as set in Local SEO. If you however feel you should have on-page schema added, you can chose according to the content of the page or use article which is usually general.
3. You can use just your range: $10 – $200 for the price range field on your Local SEO.
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hi there, thank you for replying. I do not want the home page to redirect nowhere and whats weird is that its actaully not redirecting. I never put that, we use Home page as the home page.
I cant remove it somehow. It keeps showing up.
I just put the credetentials.
Thank you
Hello,
I was able to log in and disable the redirection. After that, I checked it in an Incognito tab and it is working fine, could you check?
Looking forward to help you.
I looked and it still appearing on the wordpress edit page, on the Elementor Edit page. Using regular Chrome, using Incognito Chrome and I also checked using Microsoft Edge Browser.
Weird.

Hello,
The access URL seems to lead to a 404 page
Please note that the redirection appearing doesn’t mean it is redirecting. It is an optional setting added by Rank math to pages whereby you can redirect a page if you wish to.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
1) Sorry, we moved the LOGIN url to default URL temporary, now you can login. Also, I added a direct access URL
2) As you may see, its not a ghosted suggestion its actually enabled to redierct, and the URL its put in the box as if I put it there. I cant delete it and I cant disable the redirect. Whats odd is that its not redirecting by the way. We do not want to redirect, but its weird that its showing up there.
Maybe is a bug?
Hello,
After a lot of diffing I was able to find the issue. There seems to be an issue with this redirection: ?product=lace-bell-christmas-table-cloth
which seems to make the redirection option to be enabled by default. I deactivated the redirection and now the option is disabled by default.
I have also noted that you have added a number of query redirections(?***
). The part I am talking about is everything after ?
.
Please note that Rank Math doesnβt redirect URLs with query strings.
You may have to use any other plugin to redirect URLs like that.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Thank you so much for fixing that conflict. It was a migration from 301 redirection export. I will get rid of them in case it creates conflicts.
I can understand the connection but probably is how the plugin solves it. Weird scenario.
Its something that it should be consider when bringn in redirections. You guys may wont to put a note on import or a delete action to prevent this.
Thank you again. Have a good one!
Oh by the way, I am finishing setting all up.
1) Should I no-index my main woocommerce shop? (Because I have setup as index to all my categories) like:
https://www.linensartandthings.com/linens/table-toppers/
https://www.linensartandthings.com/linens/wedding/
https://www.linensartandthings.com/linens/mantel-scarves/
https://www.linensartandthings.com/linens/doilies/
https://www.linensartandthings.com/linens/placemats/
and my shope URL is:
https://www.linensartandthings.com/home-decor/ (default, it contains ALL the products) It was SHOP but I renamed it a while ago.
2) Should I no-index my tag archives? I am trying to find in your blog information about this.
Hello,
You can leave your shop page to index. Indexing or noindexing archive/tags/category pages is dependent on the site. If indexing the pages causes issues on your site, you can check your GSC if there are any, then it would be recommended to noindex them. Here is an article that explains this much better.
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
Yes, I have decided to index my categories and not my archives. Categories may rank high for specific terms but my doubt was about the main Shop URL which is different since woocommerce creates it by default, it’s not a manually created category.
I haven’t found information about this though.
Thanks for sharing. categories and archives were taken care of already
Hello,
It is fine to keep that page as indexed, you shouldn’t have issues with it (think about it like the homepage for the products in your shop). Just, if you have issues with Product schema on that page, disable the schema on it since it is not necessary there.
Looking forward to help you.
