    Home Page not being Indexed after removing Rank Math Pro

    my home page is not showing in sitemap and getting reports that it is missing when testing the site. I tried all the fixes in your articles, like save site map changes, set permalnks. Manually set home page to index, but still home page is missing

    I have tried these steps but home page is still missing from site map.

    I re-bought pro and as soon as i installed rank math pro the homepage became listed again in site map. Not sure why this is but looks like issue with canomical name was for the home page.

    Hello,

    If you have added a custom canonical to your homepage, then it will be excluded from your sitemap.

    You should remove the canonical under the Advanced tab for your homepage, as Rank Math already generates a self-canonical URL on your indexed URLs.
