Home page is not listed in google search few weeks after rankmath installation

1. Check Robots.txt File

First, ensure that your robots.txt file is not blocking Google from crawling your site. You can use the robots.txt testing tool to check if there are any directives preventing Googlebot from accessing your homepage.

2. Indexation Status

You can monitor your site’s indexation status using the Google Search Console or the Index Status report in Rank Math’s Analytics. To access this in Rank Math, navigate to Rank Math SEO → Analytics and click on the Index Status tab. This will show you the current status of your pages.

If you find that your homepage is not indexed, you can request Google to reindex it. In Google Search Console, enter your homepage URL and click on REQUEST INDEXING.
