Help Me Properly Applying Hreflang / Canonical

    I’m having a hard time getting the difference between rel=canonical and hreflang tags.

    I have a Hindi site on a subdomain of my main domain (which is in English). How can I properly implement whatever I need to, so that I don’t confuse Google?

    Just so you know, my site is essentially a blog and so I’m not trying to represent a business. I have posts in English (on main domain) and Hindi (on subdomain) and I want to know how can I link them properly so that Google knows what is what.

    Pardon me, I’m not a very much of coder. Please help.
