    Hello team,

    I need your help in fixing rbots.txt file.

    My robot.txt file is as follows

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
    Sitemap: http://intospeaking.com/sitemap_index.xml

    Disallow: /cgi-bin/
    Disallow: /page/

    This is not getting updated in rank math robot.txt file editior

    In my http://intospeaking.com/robots.txtfollowing code is only appearing after too many attempts of trying I’m approaching you.

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Sitemap: http://intospeaking.com/sitemap_index.xml

    Before I give it a try the above mentioned code was opening in normal window but it was not appearing in incognito window.

    When I tested in the normal window it shows active but incognito mode it shows inactive.

    Kindly help me resolve this

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked your robots.txt, and it seems that it is already working fine (using incognito mode). However, if you have an actual robots.txt file that is present in the website root folder, the Edit robots.txtoption in Rank Math won’t show your current robots.txt configuration. You will need to modify that file to make any modification.

    If you wanted to use Rank Math’s robots.txt, please delete or rename the actual file in your website root directory. Please note that Rank Math’s robots.txt is virtually created and is not present in your website root directory.
