Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re facing with your analytics data showing items as "cannot index." To address this issue, you can follow these steps:
-
Check for Duplicate Content:
- Verify if the pages you want to index have any duplicates on your website. If duplicates exist, add a canonical tag from these duplicate pages pointing to the original content you want to index.
-
Perform a Content Audit:
- Conduct a content audit to identify outdated pages lacking value. You can then improve these pages or consider alternatives like removing them, redirecting to more relevant pages, or adding a noindex meta tag.
-
Add Noindex Meta Tag:
- By adding a noindex meta tag, you inform search engines not to index the content while keeping it accessible to your audience. This can help improve your site’s overall quality and eventually its visibility in search results.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for reaching out, and I hope this information helps alleviate your concerns.
Best regards.

The problem is there are no pages to mark no index. Example yourdomain.com/keeper-pam/ became yourdomain.com/keeper-security-pam/ I still get the yourdomain.com/keeper-pam/ in my dashboard and it was changed months ago. Several of the items are completely deleted at this point so there is no way to flag no-index
Hello,
If those URLs are still showing in Rank Math Analytics, please ensure that you’re using the latest version of Rank Math plugin on your site: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free
Then, follow the steps below to delete old analytics data and start a fresh import:

After rebuilding the analytics index of posts, go to Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics, and under “Analytics Database”, click “Update Data Manually”.

Your analytics data should be updated to the latest after that.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you that did it and I will try that first next time 😛
