Hi Todd,
what about the other issues?
In terms of the description, they were all working fine until about 4 days ago. No changes in them or anything, they just all stopped working. Meta description has always been the exact same in source code, just Google changing the description.
The cached date on those pages you sent is in 20 years so I’m not sure what exactly i’m looking for.
Hello,
I am not quite sure what you mean by social schema, could you please clarify on this?
We might need to take a closer look at the error involving the canonicals. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We are getting an invalid username message with the logins you shared.
Can you please check if they are correct?
ya i know. i logged on to my website last night and things had been messed up, so I got nervous someone on your end was screwing things up and deleted the account I sent credentials for.
Hi Matthew,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
I don’t think anyone from our team logged in until today.
We would be happy to check further if you can clone your site to a temporary staging area and share some access.
Thank you.
okay you can try again with the same credentials
Hi,
This is not something related to Rank Math.
Even when I disabled Rank Math, this is the Permalink I see when editing the Blog page:
https://i.rankmath.com/ZWL8b9
It has to do the fact that your settings are like this:
On top of that, your blog page is also /blog/
The canonical tag is correct and the pagination pages are available at /blog/blog/
as well.
Do check your settings at WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General
I think the WP itself is installed in blog
folder so you do not need to select static page/posts page at WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading
Okay I fixed that, have you figured out the meta description issue yet? I have Ahrefs reporting multiple meta descriptions on my blog articles and pages. I’ve tried running this article through this tool and it is ignoring the meta description https://trulyblogger.com/meta-tags-analyzer/
Hi Matthew,
I am glad that the issue is fixed.
I do not see any duplicate meta description tags on your articles. I checked the page source. Can you please share a link where you are seeing this?
