    Hi. Does hashtag hurt SEO? My site’s customers reviews structure is like this: http://www.site.com/exampleBusiness/#reviews

    Is it bad that reviews are stored under hashtag #reviews? I tried to copy one of my reviews and paste it into Google search – Google didn’t find this review but found my site.

    Should I keep reviews on the main page “exampleBusiness”?

    However, Google does recognize reviews and shows reviews rich snippets.

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The # in the URL points to a specific section of your page. If you have #reviews in the URL that means it will lead to that section of the page where the reviews are displayed. Since the reviews are available on the same page and included in the Schema, Google will be able to crawl and index those reviews.

    And as you already mentioned that Google is showing reviews in rich snippets, there is nothing to worry about.
