    Hello,
    I contact you because a few days ago someone unknown verfified themselves as the owner of my website porperty of Mygoldenpear.com with the Google Search console. For this they placed a verification meta tag into the rank math table _options.

    I don’t know if this is a known vulnarability in Rankmath and if you are aware of cases like this. I cleaned it up for now but can you please let me know, if this is known and what I should do to close this weak spot?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    We are not aware of any such vulnerability. When updating any setting we use nonce verification and we also check if the current user has the required capability to update any settings. Are you sure, someone from your team who has access to this setting didn’t update it?
