GTIN migration tool not working

    Hi

    I ran the GTIN migration tool on my website (www.watersportswarehouse.co.za)

    It runs with an error. If I look at my cron events, a job wp_gtin_data_migration_cron runs for 2 min, then aborts with “Unknown (wp_gtin_data_migration_cron_interval)”

    Even worse I am losing both my wooseas_GTIN field (Used by my product feed to google), and in some cases my rankmath GTIN also gets deleted…

    I have an older staging site, so I can extract all GTIN’s to a CSV file and then hopefully you can assist in getting me to re-populate the rankmath GTIN, ad then we can update the woocommerce GTIN field…

    So I’ve extracted some categories of my staging database, using standard export and including all meta tages.

    I see 3 x GTIN fields
    Meta:_woosea_gtin. Presumably from my Product feed plugin.
    Meta:_gtin. Presumably the new woocommerce gtin field
    Meta:_rank_math_gtin_code. Presumably your GTIN field.

    So, looking at the file
    all 3 fields differ
    woosea_gtin and rankmath gtin are usually correct, and usually the same.
    the meta:_gtin (Woocommerce) is not accurate and has issues. It’s often the same for different products, and certainly not equal to rankmatch gtin at all.

    So, I’m confused.

    How can I email my spreadsheet to you???
    I’ll send you a screenshot of some errors…

    My current issue is on rankmath gtin vs woocommerce gtin.

    I did an product extract of all fields inc meta data from woocommerce
    I found 3 GTIN fields
    Meta:_woosea_gtin. This is my product feeds GTIN value. I’m happy with it.
    Meta:_GTIN. This presumably is the woocommerce GTIN field. There are some imediate issues with it.
    1. Not the same as the rankmatch GTIN, even though I ran your “GTIN Migration script”
    2. Duplicates
    3. Most inaccurate GTIN’s of all the fields
    Meta: _rank_math_gtin_code. Your GTIN values.

    Hello,

    The meta field _gtin is not from WooCommerce, the one from WooCommerce is called _global_unique_id so that must be coming from some other plugin you have installed on the website.
